| Profile and report | Select a physical territory for land and soil indicators. Select the Eurostat dataset, statistical territory, crop and year separately for agricultural statistics. Values are not automatically reallocated between geographies. |
| Crops and production | In Crops and production, choose the Eurostat dataset, statistical territory, crop and year, then Show selected data. Historical NUTS codes remain separate from current codes. No yield is derived from incompatible production and area series. |
| Geography comparison | In Land and terrain or Soils, choose a second territory. The comparison retains each source's units, dates and valid area. Check these before interpreting a difference. |

Methods and interpretation limits
Each indicator retains its dataset, method, unit, observed period and source hash in the JSON report. Data coverage and use limitations accompany the results. These methods do not create a credit score or a farm-level measurement.

| Land and terrain | WorldCover 2021 v200 is not a 2026 crop map. Copernicus GLO90 is a surface model, not a guaranteed bare-earth terrain model. |
| Soils | SoilGrids 2.0: modelled 1 km means at explicit depths, not laboratory tests. Quantiles are absent. Mean pH describes the map, not chemical mixing. Soil area weights use native ESRI:54052 projected support, not EPSG:3035 areas. |
| Drought | Italian EDO indicators remain excluded while territorial aggregations and some metadata versions undergo independent review. No result does not mean no drought. |
| Crops and production | Eurostat observations from the selected dataset retain their native territory codes. The two datasets can contain overlapping keys; they are neither mixed nor summed. Statistical units are not automatically interchangeable with Istat 2026 boundaries. |
| Prices and costs | This Italian edition contains no price or energy observations. Farm costs are not inferred from physical or agricultural data. |

Limitations and conditions
- No overall risk score, probability of default or yield forecast is calculated.
- MADIA history and the 1991–2020 normal are prepared separately. Comparability with current BQ ERA5 daily data is not yet admitted; current-versus-MADIA anomalies are unavailable.
- Land rights, abstraction permits and farm eligibility require separate documents.
- Istat geometry represents all 20 regions, including Sicily and Sardinia. Indicators retain their own spatial support; a regional mean is not a field measurement.
- All 20 Italian regions: land, soils, agricultural statistics and modelled daily weather series for 2025. Each source retains its period and coverage. ET0, drought and irrigation scenarios are not yet included.
